MARCO Reservations for Dayton/Xenia

I am looking forward to spending time with our members at our HamVention MARCO annual meeting in Xenia/Dayton, May 14-17, 2020. If you have never been to this mecca of ham radio consider joining us, it is well worth the trip!  Please make your reservation ASAP – Wingate by Wyndham, 3055 Presidential Drive, Fairborn OH.   Phone 937-912-9350.  Our “Medical Amateur Radio Council” room block of rooms starts Thursday May 14, for three nights, priced at $129 plus $16.45 tax per night (breakfast is included). Reservations must be made by April 23rd, availability is limited! Tampa Hotel Block rooms must be reserved by March 13

The cutoff date at our Tampa airport room block for our MARCO annual meeting  is March 13,  Please act quickly to join us. Hotel records show 11 rooms reserved to date.  Two members are arriving on Wednesday, two on Thursday and the rest on Friday.  THIS is a Very important  annual meeting, please consider attending.  (We depart on Sunday April 28th) Only two board members who are not on the cruise have made reservations at the hotel.  Overall those listed as attending are Adams, Breault, Conder, Favaro, Garlitz, Lind, McGirr, Rabin, Small, Takada and Wolf. MARCO 2019 Annual Meeting and Cruise

It is not too late to join in the fun! Eleven cabins are booked so far, our booking rate has been extended until the end of October. The MARCO 2019 Annual Meeting will be held in Tampa, Florida from Friday, April 26 through Sunday, April 28. The meeting will be followed by an optional cruise to the Western Caribbean on the Carnival Miracle from Sunday April 28 – Sunday May 5th 2019. Motion for nomination and approval of Treasurer: N8CL will be the new Treasurer. Motion for nomination and approval of Secretary. WB2MXJ said OK to being Secretary again, but with carve out of someone else handling booths and hotels at Orlando/Dayton. This was agreed to and approved.
